Amit Malviya, the head of BJP’s IT Cell, recently shared a video clip on social media that shows a segment from the Lok Sabha, where Rahul Gandhi’s alleged actions were captured. The Congress party, responding to allegations of Rahul Gandhi making a ‘flying kiss’ in Parliament, turned the tables on the BJP on Wednesday. B.V. Srinivas, the head of Indian Youth Congress, asked from Mathura, “Did you see him blowing a flying kiss that seemed inappropriate and obscene to you?” He replied, “I don’t know. I couldn’t see that. Some words were not appropriate.”
“I didn’t see any flying kiss: Hema Malini Ji.” However, she has signed on that fabricated complaint,” Srinivas posted on Ex, previously known as Twitter.
“Rahul Gandhi has asked very sharp questions about Manipur’s total inaction and mismanagement from the government,” Congress MP Karti Chidambaram remarked. The government isn’t addressing those questions. This is the classic BJP strategy. Every time we ask sharp questions about issues, they always try to deflect by going back in history or talking about things unrelated.”
In the Lok Sabha, BJP’s women MPs complained to the Speaker about Rahul Gandhi’s alleged ‘flying kiss. “We didn’t like it when he (Rahul Gandhi) blew a flying kiss while leaving because it goes against our culture.” We will not tolerate such things in the Parliament,” said Union Minister Darshana Jardosh, who was among the complainants.
BJP has stepped up its attack on Rahul Gandhi, who delivered his first speech in the Lok Sabha after returning as an MP following a Supreme Court stay on his conviction in the 2019 ‘Modi surname’ contempt case.
